Week 133 Theme: THE DEVIL
We’re going a little dark this week… in conjunction with the release of THE DEVILERS #1, the theme is Comic Book Devils. Any Devil/Demon iteration from any comics publisher is up for grabs.

Sure, we’ve done Robin before, but that was ANY Robin. This week it’s ANY iteration of DICK GRAYSON. Robin, Nightwing, fill-in Batman, Secret Agnet, your call!

CA! Week 130: MS. MARVEL

Ms. Marvel is the name of several fictional super heroines appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was originally a female counterpart to Captain Marvel. Like Captain Marvel, most of the bearers of the Ms. Marvel title gain their powers through Kree technology or genetics.

We’ll be doing the Guardians of the Galaxy as a whole in a month, but this week it’s solo Rocket!

Every publisher seems to have their own pantheon of deities, so in conjunction with this week’s Image release THE WICKED & THE DIVINE, the theme is ANY comic book god. Zeus, Odin, Thor, Kirby’s New Gods, any comic book god is up for grabs. Just make sure to give us your god’s name along with your submission.

Week 128 Theme: LONE WOLF AND CUB
Disgraced by false accusations from the Yagyū clan, Ogami Ittō, the Shogun‘s executioner who uses a dōtanuki battle sword, is forced to take the path of the assassin. Along with his three-year-old son, Daigorō, they seek revenge on the Yagyū clan and are known as “Lone Wolf and Cub”.

I saw the 1990 NIGHT BREED movie several times in the theater. I’m not even a horror guy, but that movie was just fun. And then it was a Marvel comic. Now, 24 years later, it is a comic once more. NIGHT BREED has such wonderful creatures… here’s your chance to draw some!

BEE and PUPPYCAT! Challengers Assemble! Week 124

BEE, a directionless twenty-something woman. PUPPYCAT, a mysterious creature that literally falls into her life. Together they work intergalactic temp jobs to pay the rent.

The FLASH TV trailer is making the rounds, and Mark Millar and Duncan Fegredo’s MPH debuts next week from Image, so next week’s theme is ANY comic book speedster. The Flash, Quicksilver, Max Mercury, Impulse, XS, Velocity, Speed Demon, those Russian Couriers from DC, The Whizzer, Outrun, Race Noble, heck, even Sonic the Hedgehog counts!
